Online course – Strengthening families & promoting resilience to protect children

This is a two-session online multi-disciplinary interactive training course that will support practitioners to:

• promote healthy family functioning
• develop effective approaches to manage conflict and dysfunction in family life
• develop support networking for families.

Course participants will receive a copy of the Working with families guide by Carol Jolliffe. The co-trainer is Stephen Pizzey. Carol and Stephen are both directors of Child and Family Training.

Training sessions:

• 28 April 2025, 10.00 am – 12.30 pm (UK time) – Session 1: Promoting healthy family functioning, family communication and problem-solving skills
• 29 April 2025, 10.00 am – 12.30 pm (UK time) – Session 2: Techniques to manage conflict and dysfunction in family life, and support networking for families

CPD: 5 hours

Total cost: £72.00 (VAT inclusive) – Participants from the UK will receive a hard copy version of the Working with families guide. All other participants will receive an electronic version.
